4. Recommendations for use and care

Cleaning and maintenance

To keep your sink in perfect condition, please follow the recommendations below:

  1. Clean the sink regularly with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. This is much better and preferable for the sink finish than an infrequent “deep clean”. Use soft or microfibre cloths.
  2. A 50% mixture of water and white vinegar can be used to remove limescale deposits and dirt; make sure to rinse thoroughly after use and do not leave the vinegar in contact with the surface. A nylon pad or toothbrush can be used in difficult areas. Dry the sink after use to delay future dirt build-up. Always rinse the sink with water after cleaning or preparing food.

Deep cleaning: It should be noted that if the above advice has been followed, “deep cleaning” should not be necessary. “Deep cleaning” should be seen as the last option after trying the above cleaning advice; repeated use of these methods will alter the appearance of the sink and reduce its service life.

  1. Absorb as much of the contaminant as possible with kitchen paper, then rinse with plenty of hot water.
  2. Use a soft kitchen cloth and a stiff nylon brush with less than 5% bleach content.
  3. A “Cif”-type cleaning cream and a stiff nylon brush or a nylon scouring pad work to remove stubborn stains and silver marks from metal cookware. You should always rinse the sink thoroughly after following any of the above steps. It should be noted that stronger chemicals should not damage the sink itself, but they should be avoided.
