The Gea is made of quartz and high-resistance resins. It complies with European Directive CE 2002/72 on materials in contact with food and withstands dry heat up to 180 °C.

Daily cleaning is done with water, soap and a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, you can use a non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid products with solvents or concentrated bleach. If any limescale marks appear, a little white vinegar helps remove them. See all the instructions in our maintenance manual.
