Ideas for installing sinks in L-shaped kitchens

L-shaped kitchens make it very easy to integrate different zones: the kitchen sinksink area, the food preparation area and the cooking area. This type of layout is also very suitable for installing a table, which in turn makes these kitchens highly functional spaces.

Examples of L-shaped kitchens

L-shaped kitchens are usually
open to the dining room and blend perfectly into the space with
one objective: not to take centre stage away from the living area.

For a small yet
functional kitchen, in shades ranging from grey to white and creating a
calm atmosphere, the sink can be placed under the window to make the most
of natural light.

This location can be complemented
with hydraulic flooring and, as for furniture and appliances, one can
opt for hanging units and open shelves, as well as a small fridge
located under the worktop and near the sink drawer.

On the other hand, if we
are dealing with a setting whose design includes installing the
L-shaped kitchen under a sloping ceiling, it is advisable to choose a type of
decoration that does not clash with the rest of the room and, for example, the installation
of a small island with storage space that also
serves as an auxiliary unit. To give it a different touch, we can install a
mirror above the sink as a decorative element.

Do you have limited space for your
kitchen? Do you think an L-shaped layout could be suitable?
Go for it without fear!
