Yesterday's and today's décor for our kitchen

Synthetic sink Ocean Square collection view 7 Atron

Combining the latest technology in kitchen sinks, worktops or appliances with a more traditional décorshould not be incompatible. In fact, many interior designers are already carrying out this practice, which is gaining more and more followers.

And how is it achieved?

By trying to find the right handcrafted touch with, for example, the use of exposed hinges, fingertip-pull handles, furniture inspired by other classic-style pieces in which to store crockery, or shades such as celadon, white and a soft green that provide a warmer, cleaner, fresher and more rustic atmosphere.

This classic look can be accompanied by a more romantic look that helps turn our work in the kitchen into a more comfortable task. This can be achieved through the installation of two sinks – one designed for placing dirty dishes and equipped with a soap dispenser (located, for example, under the crockery cupboards), and another located on an island and used for washing food.

On the other hand, classic glass-front cabinets – made of wood – for storing crockery and some foods can also be a storage solution that adds a retro touch to the room. This touch can also be achieved by using a special marble for the worktop, installing hydraulic mosaic for the floor, moldings or a masonry extractor hood.
